Thank You Jesus

miss_tpa

Dear Jesus, aka The Resurrection and the Life himself, there was a day you said a little girl should come into this life and do all the things you wanted her to do. Us we don’t know exactly what you wanted her to do, but I know a few little things. You surrounded her with people who loved her and whom she loved back. Thank you, Jesus.

You gave her strength and boldness that she used to stand up for those who hadn’t yet tapped into this part of their being. Thank you, Jesus. You gave her a strong sense of responsibility that she would wonderfully apply when raising Nei Nei and Mani Mani. Thank you, Jesus. You gave her a jolly laugh and a giggly, fun spirit. Thank you, Jesus. And we played blind-man bat. Thank you, Jesus.

Thank you for seeing that out of all the beautiful stars and sights in this world you created, someone special was still missing. Thank you for choosing that day as 10th Dec, the day Hawi would start her journey called life. Thank you greatly for bringing her here on this day. I know we have asked for many things in this past year, and I know you’ve heard all of them, and you will greatly provide because that’s just how Greatly you are.

Having said that, Jesus si you know we are waiting for you kwa hamu na gamu. We want to sing and shout the victory when we all get to heaven. But as we wait for you, today I still say thank you. Thank you for making sure personally, that though now we are missing this someone special very much, that missment is not and never in vain. Thank you for being our friend especially in this season and for bearing all our griefs.

Thank you for giving us the Great hope that we don’t have to be discouraged, because these days without our special one will one day go forever! And on that same day, we will be forever reunited in your glorious eternal life. Thank you, Jesus, that with each passing day, we are getting closer to that day of exponential rejoicing. And thank you most of all that you will personally Destroy this enemy that has separated us. Hallelujah! Aaaaaamen.

I absolutely love this piece. Moreso, because you captured her essence and spirit so well. We truly miss this lil girl. May she continue resting in power 💜
